Dear Residents of Cardinal Creek,
Covid-19 has created a difficult year for all of us and we must continue to do what we can to keep ourselves, our loved ones and our community safe. For our part, the Cardinal Creek Community Association (CCCA) has not organized any community events this year. However, we have recently worked with our City Councillor Matt Luloff’s office to find a safe and easy way for us to pull together as a community while keeping our physical distance.
This Sunday, November 8 between 10am and noon, we are organizing a community clean up day. We invite you to come out with members of your family or social bubble to enjoy the outdoors while helping to keep your Cardinal Creek neighbourhood clean. Come out between 10am and noon to the gazebo at the Cardinal Creek Community Park, 1825 Trim Road, to collect garbage bags and rubber gloves. All you have to do is pick the location you wish to clean, enjoy your company and some community spirit and return your garbage bags to the same location when you are done.
To ensure we have sufficient cleaning supplies, please let us know by emailing president@cardinalcreek.org if you plan to join in and how many people you will bring with you. If you decide at the last minute, that’s okay, come on over! We’ll make sure there are some extra supplies for you.
Please bring your masks with you to the gazebo. If there is another group at the gazebo when you arrive, please keep your distance until they have moved away.
Refreshments will be served.

Le virus COVID-19 rend les choses difficiles pour nous tous et nous continuons à faire ce qu’on peut pour se protéger ainsi que nos proches et notre communauté. En ce qui concerne l”association communautaire, nous n’avons pas organisé d’activités cette année. Cependant nous avons travaillé avec le bureau de notre conseiller municipal Matthew Luloff, et trouvé une façon de sécuritaire procéder pour le nettoyage de quartier, tout en respectant les mesures de distanciation physique.
Ce dimanche 8 novembre de 10h à midi, nous organisons un nettoyage dans le quartier. Nous vous invitons à venir avec votre famille ou les membres de votre bulle sociale profiter de l’extérieur pour aider à garder notre voisinage propre. Venez entre 10h et midi chercher sacs et gants au gazebo du Parc Communautaire Cardinal Creek au 1825 Chemin Trim. Choisissez un endroit à nettoyer, profitez de la compagnie et de l’esprit de communauté, puis rapportez vos sac au gazebo lorsque vous aurez terminé.
Afin que nous puissions planifier la quantité de matériel, prière d’envoyer un courriel à president@cardinalcreek.org et indiquez combien de personnes seront avec vous. Nous aurons du matériel supplémentaire de dernière minute, alors n’hésitez pas.
N’oubliez pas de porter votre masque au gazebo. Si d’autres groupes sont présents en même temps que vous, prière de garder vos distances pour le respect de tous.
