Since 2007, the CCCA has been operating ODRs in the area parks. Every year from early January to March, weather permitting, the ODRs provide easy neighbourhood access to beautiful ice surfaces for skaters and hockey players of all ages. This year, the ODRs at Cardinal Creek Park, Cassia Park, and Royal Ridge Park will be maintained by our dedicated team of volunteers in addition to students from local schools. Creating and maintaining a good ice surface takes many hours in our cold Canadian climate, but rest assured our team is committed to ensuring that our community has smooth ice available to help enjoy the outdoors every winter.
