Please help the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority (RVCA) obtain a $50k grant from Shell by voting for them on the http://www.fuellingchange.com/ website. The RVCA is instrumental in keeping City streams and creeks in a good shape, including our own Cardinal Creek.

Rideau Valley Conservation Foundation’s Healthy Streams, Natural Shorelines project has made it to the final voting phase for a $50,000 grant from Shell Canada’s FuellingChange program. It is now up to voters to decide who gets the prize. This grant will help support stewardship projects like shoreline/reforestation planting, invasive species removals, and bioengineering projects in the Rideau Watershed.? ?We need your help with votes.??How does it work? Simply go online and register at www.fuellingchange.com (Only a name and email are required-no surveys). Find our Healthy Streams, Natural Shorelines project and vote for us! If you make purchases at Shell between now and October 31, you can redeem points for more votes – just check your receipt for transaction codes you can punch in online. The top four projects in our category by October 31 receive $50,000 each!
Voting is easy:
- Register at www.fuellingchange.com, find our project, and automatically get 10 votes
- Link your account to your personal Facebook or twitter accounts for 20 votes each
- Make any purchase at Shell and enter your receipt code online for 10 votes/receipt
- Sign up for project notifications and redeem special bonus codes when they become available (Up to 50 votes)
