[ccca-announce] Hockey players needed Feb 20

Calling all hockey fans!  Your Cardinal Creek Community Association needs 10-12 hockey players (girls, boys and adults) this Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2 pm.  (Oh, and a coach would be nice too...)

You may recall from last year's Gabriel Pizza Hockey Day in Cardinal Creek that the Cardinal Creek Crushers went down to defeat on home ice, in overtime, by a score of 2-1.  The Cardinal Creek Challenge Cup slipped out of our grasp.
 
The grudge-match is on!!!  The Chapel Hill South Community Association is taunting Cardinal Creek with a friendly, mixed outdoor hockey game at Blue Willow Park in Chapel Hill South (Orleans Blvd, at Longleaf Cres, south of Innes Rd).  This match is part of the CHSCA's Winter Classic event, and an opportunity for us to take back OUR Cup.  The puck drops at 2 p.m.  The game will last approximately 30 minutes. Non-playing residents are also welcomed to come cheer us on.
