Participate in Earth Hour by turning off all your lights on Saturday, March 24, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Earth Hour, organized by World Wildlife Fund, is a global grassroots movement uniting people to take action on climate change and protect the planet. Engaging a massive mainstream community, Earth Hour was famously started as a lights-out event in Sydney, Australia, in 2007. Since then, it has grown to engage millions of supporters in more than 170 countries and territories. As the movement grows, the one-hour lights-out event continues to be the symbol of a broader commitment toward the planet.

The CCCA strives to incorporate the principles of sustainable development in how we support our community. Earth Hour is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on what we can do—at home and in the office—to lessen our impact on the environment.

We encourage you to participate in Earth Hour at home and at your place of business this Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.  All efforts, big and small, add up to a significant benefit for the environment. We hope you will join us!
