Councillor Bob Monette is hosting a public meeting on a topic, which has been a concern of many residents in his area; residents have specifically have contacted him about Green Bins with questions and concerns. This email is an invitation to attend the public open house Councillor Monette hosting on Feb 25th, 2010 about the Green Bin Program. Over the last months Councillor Monette has had many questions about this program especially during the 2010 Budget consultations, Councillor Monette requested this meeting to help facilitate those questions. There will be two presentations one by City Staff detailing the program and its history and one by Orgaworld detailing their part in the composting procedure. After the presentation, the floor will be opened up for questions about the program, its inception and the composting process. This meeting though only is to have your questions answered and not to attack either city staff or Orgaworld, Councillor Monette realizes that some people do not agree with the program, included himself, however this meeting is for questions. Le Conseiller Bob Monette a décidé d'organiser une réunion publique sur les bacs verts puisque ce fut et est toujours un sujet controversé et qui a suscité beaucoup de controverse dans notre communauté. Ceci est une invitation à cette soirée qui aura lieu le 25 février 2010 afin de discuter du programme des bacs verts. Dans le dernier mois, le Conseiller Monette a reçu plusieurs demandes et répondu à de nombreuses questions à ce sujet et ce, particulièrement lors des consultations publiques sur le budget 2010. Le Conseiler Monette a demandé que cette réunion soit organisée afin de vous offrir un forum où poser vos questions. Il y aura deux présentations : la première sera effectuée par les fonctionnaires de la ville expliquant le programme des bacs verts et les étapes qui ont mené à sa conception et une deuxième effectuée par Orgaworld afin de vous fournir plus d'information sur leur implication dans le programme et leurs procédures de compostage. Suivant les présentations, vous pourrez poser toutes questions que vous avez au sujet du programme, de sa conception et du processus de compostage. Veuillez prendre note que cette réunion est strictement pour poser vos questions et non pour attaquer les fonctionnaires de la ville ou Orgaworld. Le Conseiller Monette comprends qu'il y a certains d'entre vous qui êtes en désaccord avec le programme des bacs verts, lui y compris, par contre cette soirée est seulement pour poser vos questions.
